Perritt Primary students, staff and families are proud to be
drug free! This year's event began with a rally at the school featuring
"Tarwars," an antismoking movie which is a Star Wars parody produced by AHS G/T students, a
performance by Perritt's Nickelodeon Choir, a personal testimony from
Mayor C.T. Hollingshead about the importance of living drug free, and
performances by AHS's Dazzlers, Cheerleaders and Barney the Badger! After the
rally, everyone walked to Cornerstone Baptist Church where they were greeted
with refreshments from the Farm Bureau Ladies group and live music from the AHS
Jazz band. What a great morning for this school-community! Thanks so much to
everyone who worked hard to make the event so successful and a special 'thank
you' to all of the parents and community members who came out to support the
students and this wonderful school!
