The APS Board of Education approved the 2014-15 district
calendar during the March board meeting. Monday, Aug. 18 will be the first day
of the 2014 school year, which will conclude on Monday, June 1, 2015. Other
highlights of the calendar are one week off for Thanksgiving Break from Nov.
24-28, two weeks off for Christmas Break from Dec. 22-Jan. 2, one week off for
Spring Break from March 23-27, and holidays off including Labor Day,
Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day, and Memorial Day. Any days missed for
inclement weather will be made up beginning June 2.
